Itinerary for 6 Days in Morocco from Casablanca to Marrakech:

Day 1: Casablanca city to Chefchaouen city (blue city).

Our 6 days tour from Casablanca to Merzouga Desert starts from Casablanca after we meet each other, we’ll pick you up from a different hotel in Casablanca and our way to the Rif mountains that contain landscapes, When we arrive in Chefchaouen city Firstly: we’ll take knowledge of this city, Chefchaouen is a city north of Morocco, the original name is Chaouen called by Amazigh people, much houses in this city are painted with blue color, why this city was painted with blue color? means to keep mosquitoes away, there are many restaurants with cafes, you’ll take good photos that you’ll never find in other cities, you’ll enjoy the time, and spend a night in a local raid/hotel.

Day 2: Chefchaouen to Fes city.

In the morning after wake actually, after the breakfast, we will leave Fes city through Imouzzer to Ifran where you can find snow in the winter but in summer it’s a little cold, then we’ll arrive in Azrou forest where you have a chance to take some pictures with wild monkeys, we have lunch in a small Berber restaurant in Zaida city, after the finish we’ll continue our way through landscapes of the Atlas mountains to Midelt city. here, we’ll take a break in a small Berber cafe, after that we’ll continue the way via Erfoud to Merzouga village, the largest sand desert in Morocco that exists in Erg Chebbi. You’ll take a camel ride inside the sand, you’ll see the sunset by taking many pictures on the way to the camp will spend a night there, there is Berber music near the fire, looking at the stars, you can relax, the place is so quiet.

Day 4: Merzouga - Rissani - Tinghir - Boumalne dades.

We’ll start our travel to Ouarzazat, and visit studios, then we have lunch at the restaurant in Ait ben Haddou.

Ait ben Haddou palace is a collection of traditional buildings located in Ouarzazate, This palace, with its distinctive architecture, is considered a model of a traditional residence in southern Moroccan. where many movies are filmed here in that small village including (the mummy in 1999-The Gladiator in 2000-alexander in 2004-Game of thrones in 2011).

After we knew that’s Kasbah we’ll visit it and take some photographs, and see the traditional cultures of that Kasbah. a few moments later exactly after lunch, we continue the way through Tizi Ntichka within the Atlas mountains, about 100 km of zigzags in length then we’ll enter Marrakesh city, means(the red city) Marrakech, the former imperial city in western Morocco, is a major economic center and home to mosques, palaces, and gardens.

Amazing private 6 Days trip from Casablanca to Marrakech

We chose a 6 days tour from Casablanca with pick up in Casablanca and drop off in Marrakech. It was truly something we will never forget! Every day on the road was special in its own way and the rooms every night were unique, comfortable, and clean. We decided to spend the money and take a luxury private tour and it was well worth it. The desert camp was much better than expected and a lot of fun with amazing views of the sunset and the stars at night.

We were able to set our own itinerary with the help of our driver to maximize the experience and value of each day. We stopped at popular attractions and also did a lot of things off the beaten track, away from the tourist crowds. Our driver Hassan was amazing! His attention to our needs was evident from the moment he picked us up until we said goodbye 6 days later in Casablanca. He is a true gentleman with a deep knowledge of the history, geography, and people of Morocco.

He was our driver, interpreter, teacher, and our friend. At each place, we stopped, made new friends, and saw beautiful scenery and people. There was good food and music every day and the time in the car was fun and comfortable. We had the opportunity to travel the world and do many things and it was the trip of a lifetime!

The best 6 days desert tour from Casablanca to Marrakech

He moved into this company after a few hours of searching the Internet. To book, I went to his website and made a request. From there I received an email from Hassan with travel details and a link to pay a deposit. After paying the deposit, be sure to reply to the email to confirm your trip details, such as the riads where it must be collected and left.

Our guide, Said, responded on WhatsApp and immediately took us on the first morning to start the trip.

I can’t stress enough that my sister and I enjoyed having a private guide drive us across Morocco. Said seemed to have an answer to all our questions, however ridiculous. She was also very flexible and never insisted that we buy things.
There was definitely a lot of driving during this race, but you can’t avoid it and Said did a good job sweeping the stops with some excellent photo opportunities where he could stretch his legs a bit.

The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the camel ride in the Sahara. The camel ride was fun and watching the sunset/walking on the dunes was a fantastic experience.

In the end, if you want to book a visit to Morocco, paying extra money and booking a private (or even shared) tour with a dedicated guide is crucial. You feel very safe and it is much more relaxing with someone you trust who takes care of the transport from one place to another.

Also a professional tip: if you come in January, the desert field can be quite cold.
