This Payment & Cancellation Policy explains the terms related to payments, deposits, cancellations, refunds, and changes for all tours and services provided by Marrakech Tour Company (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By confirming a booking with Marrakech Tour Company, you agree to the conditions outlined below.

1. Payment Terms

To secure and confirm a booking, clients are required to make a payment according to the terms specified in the booking confirmation.

1.1 Deposit

  • A deposit is required to confirm all tours and travel services.
  • The deposit amount may vary depending on the tour type, travel period, and services included.
  • Bookings are considered confirmed only after the deposit has been received.

1.2 Balance Payment

  • The remaining balance must be paid before arrival or on the first day of the tour, as specified in the confirmation.
  • Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation without refund of the deposit.

1.3 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Paypal.
  • Payoneer.
  • Cash payment (upon arrival)
  • Online payment platforms (when available)

All bank fees or transaction charges are the responsibility of the client.

2. Pricing & Currency

  • All prices are quoted in EUR unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices are based on availability at the time of booking and may change until confirmation.
  • Once a booking is confirmed, the agreed price is guaranteed.

3. Cancellation by the Client

If a client needs to cancel a confirmed booking, the following cancellation terms apply:

3.1 Cancellation Notice

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email or WhatsApp.
  • The effective cancellation date is the date we receive the written notice.

3.2 Cancellation Fees

Cancellation charges depend on the timing of the cancellation and the services booked:

  • More than 30 days before travel:
    Deposit may be partially refundable, depending on non-refundable services already booked.
  • 15–30 days before travel:
    Deposit is non-refundable.
  • Less than 15 days before travel or no-show:
    100% of the total tour cost may be charged.

Non-refundable services such as hotels, desert camps, transport, or activities already paid to suppliers will be deducted from any refund.

4. Refund Policy

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed after deducting non-refundable costs.
  • Refunds are issued using the original payment method where possible.
  • Bank or transaction fees are non-refundable.
  • Refund processing time may take up to 14 business days.

5. Changes Requested by the Client

We understand that travel plans may change, and we always do our best to accommodate modification requests.

  • Changes to travel dates, number of participants, accommodations, or services are possible after confirmation, subject to availability.
  • Modifications are generally easier during low and mid-season.
  • During high season (including peak travel periods and holidays), changes may be limited due to supplier availability.

Any approved modification may result in:

  • Additional costs, or
  • Adjustments to the original itinerary or accommodation category.

While Marrakech Tour Company will make every reasonable effort to accommodate changes, we cannot guarantee modifications in all cases once services have been confirmed, particularly during high season or when third-party suppliers have strict policies.

6. Cancellation or Changes by Marrakech Tour Company

We reserve the right to cancel or modify tours due to:

  • Force majeure (weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions)
  • Safety or security concerns
  • Unforeseen operational issues

In such cases, we will:

  • Offer an alternative service of equal value where possible, or
  • Provide a refund for services not rendered, excluding non-recoverable costs.

7. No-Show & Early Termination

  • No refunds are provided for no-shows or unused services.
  • Early termination of a tour by the client does not entitle the client to a refund.

8. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in our services.
We strongly recommend clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Trip cancellation
  • Medical emergencies
  • Personal belongings
  • Travel interruption

9. Special Circumstances

Refunds or changes due to medical emergencies or exceptional situations may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to official documentation and supplier policies.

10. Agreement

By confirming a booking with Marrakech Tour Company, the client acknowledges and accepts this Payment & Cancellation Policy.
